I like the idea. It looks a little surreal too. But is overexposed...

That tree ruins it. It locks her into the lower left corner. The background id too busy and is distracting. I would either re-crop or remove the tree. Plus a shorter DOF would throw the background out of focus so it wouldn't compete with the subject.

I quite like the 'in your face' style colouring - but I'm a bit phased by the perspective. - I can't figure out the spacial relationship between the girl and the tree... It's kinda weird - in one sense it's quite intriguing in another quite uncomfortable - The relative sharpness of the tree puts it on the same plane as the girl, but it's size suggests it should be much further back (and therefore in less focus), it's a bit like looking at one of those 'impossible' images.
Interesting.... has the feel of a manip?
